Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Healthcare IT role
- Minimum 4 years of experience with Visage PACS
- HS Diploma / GED
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations and ongoing support of the Visage PACS, including image routing, archiving, and retrieval.
- Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, IT staff, and other clinical stakeholders to gather requirements, optimize workflows, and configure the Visage system to meet clinical needs.
- Perform system configuration changes, user account management, and security administration within the Visage PACS.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to image acquisition, transmission, storage, display, and integration with modalities and EMR/RIS systems.
- Provide training and ongoing support to end-users (radiologists, technologists, clinicians) on Visage PACS functionality and best practices.
- Monitor system performance, storage utilization, and data integrity to ensure high availability and reliability of the PACS.
- Participate in system upgrades, testing, and implementation of new Visage features or modules.
- Act as a primary contact for Visage vendor support, coordinating issue resolution and escalating problems as needed.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, workflows, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Ensure compliance with relevant healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA) regarding image management and patient data.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Epic Radiant
