Requirements
- 12+ years in a thermal engineering role or equivalent skill
- Expertise with thermal analysis and computational fluid dynamics and heat transfer
- Background in electronics cooling, cooling distribution units (CDUs), thermal systems controls and radiator coil design optimization
- Exceptional analytical abilities with ability to troubleshoot issues, interpret data, and optimize system performance
- Excellent communication skills with ability to collaborate with and influence global teams
Responsibilities
- Design of rack-level heat exchange and coolant distribution
- Design coolant distribution solutions within the loop for parallel flow solutions and support cooling network sizing
- Develop concepts for new innovative air and liquid cooling concepts and establish feasibility
- Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineering for design tradeoffs in rack-level air and liquid cooling solutions and coach/mentor less experienced peers to allow scale and efficiency across the team
- Ensure newly developed thermal solutions are manufacturable, interoperable, reliable and scalable for present and future roadmap
Preferred Qualifications
