Requirements
- CA RN license
- BLS
- ACLS within one year of hire/transfer
Responsibilities
- Guided by the Code of Ethics
- Maintains patient confidentiality
- Acts as a patient/resident advocate
- Delivers care in a nonjudgmental manner
- Utilizes nursing process
- Collects clinical data to monitor quality of care
- Assists in development and implementation of policies
- Participates on interdisciplinary teams
- Collaborates and communicates with patients and families
- Manages staff and patient flow
- Ensures collaboration between staff and other providers
Preferred Qualifications
- BSN
- MSN
- Currently enrolled in RN-BSN program
