Requirements
- MD/DO
- Board certified/eligible in Neurology
- Eligible for licensure in Kansas and Missouri
Responsibilities
- Assess and diagnose patients in the KU Memory Care Clinic
- Attend on the neurology inpatient unit, consult or stroke service
- Supervise neurology residents. This will include supervision of residents in the hospital wards and in the general neurology clinic
- Opportunity to serve as the PI for industry sponsored clinical trials in the KU ADRC, develop independent research projects and publish scholarly publications from these efforts
- Teaching and Research opportunities
- Primarily outpatient cognitive neurology practice with minimal inpatient consult/call responsibilities
- 80% subspecialized dementia and cognitive neurology volume available
- Collaborative with robust geriatrics program and memory clinic
Preferred Qualifications
- Completion of a fellowship program in cognitive behavioral neurology or geriatric psychiatry
