Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of health care financial forecasting/underwriting principles including self-insured medical and pharmacy plan administration and payment models
  • Experience managing complex procurement activities for self-insured medical and pharmacy services, including oversight of contract negotiations and execution
  • Supervisory responsibility for Senior Manager supporting health care strategy, design and vendor management
  • Ability to develop executive level presentation material and data visualizations
  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Develops health care strategies in alignment with Comcast NBCUniversal’s business needs, and Total Rewards’ goals and objectives
  • Responsible for developing a multi-year roadmap focused on identifying market-leading health care solutions to enhance member access to care, improve health outcomes and support long-term trend sustainability
  • Provides oversight over enterprise-wide health & welfare financial analysis and budget setting process
  • Drives materials and discussions for governance meetings and approvals (e.g., Benefit Fiduciary Committee)
  • Builds understanding and awareness of physical wellbeing strategy, key initiatives, and their business value with senior leaders and key Human Resource stakeholders
  • Partners across Total Rewards in order to inform future strategic opportunities and ensure effective management of Comcast’s health care programs across a variety of complex organizational functions
  • Prioritizes procurement cycle for key vendors
  • Conducts and facilitates team leadership over strategic vendor management activities to ensure ongoing operational performance in alignment with Comcast’s best practices and standard
  • Presents and participates at industry conferences and other company/vendor events, where appropriate
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary
