Requirements
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- Board certification or eligibility from the American Board of Internal Medicine required
- Active certification from the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) required
- Completion of an accredited residency in internal medicine required
- Completion of a fellowship training program in gastroenterology or hepatology required
