Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in the field of public health, population health management, exercise physiology, nursing or other related field of study is preferred or the equivalent work experience. Masters preferred.
  • 4 years of prior experience in the population health and well-being field; 5+ years preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and promote health and well-being initiatives for MMA’s clients.
  • Provide ongoing support and education in keeping with MMA’s corporate service philosophy which includes the MMA Dimensions of Well-being strategic resources.
  • Work with assigned clients, the respective account team and National PATH team to identify behaviors and factors that influence or compromise health.
  • Evaluate available data to provide guidance and recommendations to clients regarding population health management.
  • Responsible for the strategic planning, implementation and evaluation of population health management programs for assigned clients.
  • Implement data-driven programs and work in conjunction with brokers, account managers and where applicable the MMA PATH clinical and health management consultants and data analysts.
  • Work with the PATH Chief Medical Officer, national Vice Presidents of Clinical Consulting, Health Management Consulting, Worksite Clinic Consulting and national data analytics team to coordinate medical intelligence reports and PATH recommendations.
  • Determine vendors from whom to obtain proposals and manage vendor proposal process.
  • Participate as requested in PATH strategy and planning sessions, collaborate with PATH HMC peers and the Vice President of National Health Management Consulting.
  • Manage well-being vendor relationship on behalf of client and maintain communications with outside vendors.
  • Manage annual vendor evaluation process, interpret results and present to account team and client.
  • Review vendor updates and other industry publications to stay current with changes in vendor programs, health and wellness developments, as well as legislative mandates.
  • Document in local agency management system with client health management strategies, well-being plan data, and upload all pertinent plan documents into AMS file structure.
  • Support both national and local population health initiatives including MMA Dimensions of Well-being.
  • Participate in local, regional and/or national population health or well-being organizations.
  • Stay current on health management and well-being trends and competitive landscape.
  • Stay current with legal and regulatory guidelines related to wellness compliance.
