Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or business-related field)
- 2+ years working in internal audit, consulting, assurance services, risk and control programs, or related field, either in professional services or within the financial services industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications with specific emphasis on Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Proficiency in PowerBI, Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, Python, and/or RPA Solutions a plus
- Professional certification such as CIA, CRMA, CISA, CISM, CISSP, or similar preferred
Responsibilities
- Mentor, train, and coach Interns and Consultants
- Facilitate the successful completion of project work plans
- Identify areas of risk and opportunities to increase efficiency
- Strengthen relationships and deepen abilities to communicate, gain trust, and network with client personnel
- Accept responsibility for decision-making in areas including establishing project scope and work plans, project staffing, preparation of deliverables, and application of methodologies
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with or understanding of IT audit methodologies and developing necessary audit deliverables
- Commonly used internal control frameworks, including COBIT, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CIS, ITIL, etc.
- Sarbanes-Oxley Act provisions and methodologies for achieving compliance
- Financial services industry regulations
- Exposure to and/or interest in the latest trends and developments in data and technology
