Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in corporate finance, treasury, banking, or capital markets roles with proven experience leading complex financing transactions from strategy through execution.

Responsibilities

  • Define and lead Uber’s capital structure strategy to support growth while maintaining a disciplined approach to credit and investor engagement.
  • Structure and execute financing solutions for strategic initiatives, including vehicle financing, leasing programs, and lending platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners in Autonomous, Business and Corporate Development, Legal, Accounting, FP&A, and business teams to align funding strategies with operational needs.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key external partners — including banks, investors, and rating agencies — serving as a trusted representative of Uber.
  • Develop financial models, sensitivity analyses, and strategic frameworks to guide capital allocation decisions.
  • Prepare high-quality materials for executive leadership, the Board of Directors, and external stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Deep knowledge of capital markets, debt and equity financing structures, and financial instruments.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and financial modeling proficiency.
  • Experience structuring vehicle financing, fleet leasing, or securitized lending programs (ABS).
  • Familiarity with emerging financing models such as auto leasing, merchant cash advances, credit card programs, or embedded finance.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a proven ability to influence senior executives and external stakeholders.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills; ability to lead cross-functional teams in a high-growth, dynamic environment.
  • CFA designation is a plus, but not required.
  • Intellectually curious, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing ambiguity.
