Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field which could include educational sciences, organizational development, human resources, or other related fields
- 1-2 years of work experience, which includes development training programs or instructional design
- Basic instructional design skills, preferably with exposure to e-Learning and self-guided learning
- Familiarity with program coordination
- Foundational project coordination skills with a willingness to learn program management
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional team members at all levels of the organization
- Ability to stay highly organized and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment and contribute to collective goals
- Ability to work independently under general supervision and effectively prioritize workload
- Proficiency in using software applications such as Canva and the Office Suite; tech-savvy with a strong inclination towards continuous learning
Responsibilities
- Support the Knowledge Manager in managing the Learning Management System (LMS) by updating courses and communications, monitoring course completion, and ensuring timely and accurate tracking
- Assist with new hire onboarding by maintaining and updating content, collaborating with internal teams to ensure accuracy, and tracking feedback to improve the onboarding experience
- Assist internal presenters prepare for in-person and on-demand training sessions by coordinating logistics, managing communications and organizing content for programs such as Ware Malcomb University (WMU), the WM Mentoring Program, and other companywide training initiatives
- Assist the Knowledge Manager in the analysis of effectiveness of programs, including measuring and monitoring the success of programs and satisfaction of participants; based on results, drive continuous improvement to content and delivery
- Maintain a training calendar and serve as the master scheduler for companywide training and L&D programs ensuring all programs are scheduled in coordination with program coordinators and subject matter experts
- Facilitate internal communication about learning & development programs including posts on The Hub (Ware Malcomb’s intranet), the WM Leader Newsletter, MS Teams Channels, and designing publicity materials
- Assist with simple video editing for training recordings, including trimming, adding basic effects, and ensuring quality, with training provided on the editing tool
- Support the Continued Education Provider efforts by applying training courses for credits, tracking the application status and facilitating firmwide communication for approved courses
- Assist Knowledge Manager with managing training content and knowledge sharing efforts on The Hub (Ware Malcomb’s social intranet)
- Assist Knowledge Manager in researching the latest trends and best practices in the Learning & Development (L&D) field
- Provide administrative support for the Strategic Initiatives department
