Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting and/or Finance
- Excellent financial/business modeling & analysis skills
- Moderate to advanced knowledge of Power BI, Power Query, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated experience in labor forecasting and workforce planning
- Proven ability to handle and analyze highly confidential and sensitive information with discretion and integrity
- Ability to simplify, generate actionable business insights from complex datasets, rationalize & forecast business implications and develop recommendations/formulate business cases
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to influence stakeholders to ensure business needs & goals are met
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, comfortable working with ambiguity and change
- Self-motivated, able to work through multiple, competing priorities
- Bilingualism (French and English) is required for this position
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain various reports & dashboards used regularly to steer our operations
- Develop financial models and budgets for new business concepts and resulting financial impact to help drive data driven decision making
- Assist in month end, quarterly, annual operating financial planning and financial reporting to various stakeholders, working cross functionally with various teams, including business finance, accounting, and business operations
- Drive continuous improvement and standardization of processes, implement best practices and deliver automation throughout month-end close and financial planning cycles
- Analyze complex financial data and provide accurate and timely reports to key stakeholders, highlighting key insights and recommendations
- Support the month-end close process and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Assist in developing and implementing financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Deliver detailed variance analysis, identifying risks and opportunities, and effectively communicate results to senior leadership in order to influence tactical and strategic business decisions
- Work with multiple datasets and transform it into insights and information
- Participate in Finance initiatives, including but not limited to process improvements, ad hoc analyses, and preparation of periodic reporting activities
