Requirements

• 6 months experience in a meat production department or 6 months experience supervising a team
• Must be 18 years of age or older

Responsibilities

• Supervises the team within the meat department to deliver on the business plan
• Maintains an in-depth knowledge of business on the floor, backroom operations, product updates, and product specifications
• Leverages digital tools to plan for and drive sales
• Drives the business results ensuring commitment to operational excellence
• Teaches and trains the team by identifying training needs
• Develops, communicates, and implements processes and practices to meet business needs
• Demonstrates, promotes, and supports compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity
• Leads and participates in teams by using and sharing resources, information, and tools
• Embraces differences in people, cultures, ideas, and experiences
• Maintains and promotes the highest standards of integrity, ethics, and compliance
• Delivers results while putting the customer first
• Displays curiosity and a desire to learn

Preferred Qualifications

• Meat processing, including boneless and bone-in products
• Supervising Associates
• Food Handler Certification (Food Safety) – Certification
