Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- More than 5 years of experience managing projects or programs
- Experience delivering presentations for complex ideas and integrated campaigns
- Experience in a leadership role, leading teams or projects to successful completion
- Experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with stakeholders (i.e. customers, suppliers, peers and/or partners)
Responsibilities
- Works directly with the core weapon programs, program development teams, and production teams to create business strategies and assist with timely and efficient program execution
- Works closely with the Boeing Weapons international execution team and program elements to ensure we maintain high quality and high customer satisfaction
- International sales and marketing utilizing both Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and Direct Commercial Sales (DCS)
- Coordinates closely with USN and USAF international program elements for FMS sales and various government agencies to ensure both the US and FMS customer requirements are met and concerns addressed
- Directs communication and coordination with international customers for DCS sales
- Directs formal proposal development to capture both FMS and DCS opportunities
- Coordinates closely with the Boeing Defense headquarters to work with various USG security cooperation, international relations, export policy offices, and international embassy officials
- Ensures all licensing is in place to accomplish international marketing efforts and play a critical integration role with product improvements and developmental activity for the international market
- Develops and executes the Program’s strategy with routine involvement in cross-function, cross-program, and/or enterprise-wide activity
- Leads/participates in business case development for existing and new products, advising Weapons leadership on the potential international market for capability upgrades in support of investment strategies, and developing plans for life-cycle sustainment/upgrades for international customers
Preferred Qualifications
- Accredited technical degree or business degree (Bachelor or Master) from an accredited course of study
- Experience reading and understanding engineering models, drawings, specifications and various technical documentation
- Experience working with international customers
- Previous military or relevant industry experience
- Experience in international defense and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and in Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) processes
- Experience working with US and Foreign Government acquisition processes
- Experience with export regulations, export licensing, TAAs, and/or MLAs
