Requirements

  • 7+ years of Program Management experience
  • Proven success in managing multiple programs or large projects of varying scale and complexity
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and product management processes
  • Deep first-hand understanding of Agile practices
  • Ability to choose the right methodology (Scrum, Kanban, Lean, etc) for the right purpose
  • Experience using tools like JIRA, Notion, Confluence, and Slack
  • Skilled at influencing outcomes without relying on direct authority
  • Clear and confident communication with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and apply strategic thinking
  • Championing teams to create quality products and deliver measurable value
  • Creating conditions for teams to self-organize and succeed
  • Valuing relationships and camaraderie across functions

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage complex programs or large projects throughout the product lifecycle
  • Drive cross-functional execution by sequencing dependencies and aligning scope, timelines, and priorities
  • Shape program objectives and success criteria in partnership with PDE discipline leads and senior business stakeholders
  • Establish and track program performance, proactively communicating progress, risks, blockers, and dependencies to stakeholders
  • Orchestrate alignment between product development and business functions
  • Anticipate organizational friction and support change management
  • Organize and facilitate highly effective meetings for a wide range of audiences
  • Lead program and org-level process improvements
  • Help define the future of program management at Sony Music
  • Coach mid-level PgMs and peers

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the music industry and/or strong passion for music
  • Experience working as a scrum master, product manager and/or engineer
  • Exposure to scaled agile frameworks, such as SAFe, LeSS, or Scrum@Scale
  • Jira Administration experience
  • B2B or B2B2C experience
