Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Merchandising, Marketing, Communications or related field or equivalent experience
- 1-3 years of project management experience
- 1-3 years of experience within an apparel product creation organization
- Strong PowerPoint, Word and Excel skills and experience with project management tools and calendars
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Detail oriented with clear understanding of overall objectives
Responsibilities
- Act as a subject matter expert on the product creation process, providing strategic guidance to cross-functional teams and project stakeholders.
- Own and manage the product creation calendar, identifying efficiencies and applying best practices to optimize timelines.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date calendars for all merchandising and design activities; collaborate with partners to develop tailored timelines across seasons and product categories.
- Lead day-to-day project and workflow management, ensuring consistent communication of procedures, milestones, and status updates.
- Ensure team alignment with the product creation calendar and adherence to key deadlines.
- Secure necessary approvals to advance projects through each phase.
- Participate in cross-functional sessions to identify business needs and propose process improvements.
- Establish and uphold organizational standards for documentation and workflow maintenance.
- Support planning efforts for specialized business areas, recommending and implementing enhancements to tools and processes.
- Monitor project progress, develop communication materials, and proactively resolve outstanding issues.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
