Requirements
- Master’s degree in informatics, computer science/engineering, health information, statistics, or related field required, PhD preferred
- 1-2 years direct experience applying machine learning to pharmaceutical or clinical data (or translatable artificial intelligence [ai] techniques)
- Advanced computer programming skills (preferred language: R)
- Analytical thinker with great attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks within tight timelines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Utilize advanced statistical methods to develop predictive algorithms of methodological and clinical data
- Develop dashboards and web applications to enable Medpace teams’ access to, and interpretation of, clinical operations data
- Translate the results of feasibility research and analysis into compelling data visualizations which illustrate the overall feasibility strategy for proposals and bid defense meetings
- Perform comprehensive review of data sources to deliver high quality informatics data and analysis to teams
- Develop and map database architecture of methodological and clinical data systems
- Support departmental process improvement initiatives
- Participate in training and development of more junior team members
