Business Analyst

3 or more years of ongoing experience as a Business Analyst or similar role in an IT or software development environment.
A strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDL) and Agile methodologies.
Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
A strong desire to work in a collaborative environment and build effective, long-lasting business relationships with stakeholders.
A high level of integrity, a strong work ethic, and you are someone that is self-motivated.
An inquisitive character and a “can do” attitude.
The ability to perform under pressure.
The ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language.
Experience with business analysis and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, and Visio.
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office/365 suite of products: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Microsoft Teams.

Collaborate with stakeholders from business units and IT to gather and document business and technical requirements.
Work closely with developers, product owners, and application managers to ensure solutions are aligned with department and organizational objectives.
Act as a key point of contact during UAT, and pre, and post-implementation activities.
Organize and conduct meetings with cross-functional technical teams.
Facilitate, negotiate, and communicate agreements and commitments between business units as well as between cross-functional technical teams.
Assist in the design, testing, and deployment of new systems and enhancements.
Support change management.
Analyze current processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
Conduct gap analysis and risk assessments.

A Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or some other related field will help you stand out.
