Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • 15 years of experience in engineering or operations roles, with at least 10 years in leadership/management positions
  • 10 years of experience in engineering function within high-tech or electronics manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic direction and day-to-day leadership for the Operations Engineering teams, including Materials Engineering, Test Engineering, and Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Lead the execution and continuous improvement of engineering processes to support scalable production and optimized product quality.
  • Develop and implement long-term strategies that improve manufacturing efficiency, reduce costs, enhance product performance, and ensure manufacturability.
  • Collaborate with R&D, Supply Chain, Quality, and Product Management to drive seamless product lifecycle transitions from design through production.
  • Drive productivity initiatives, including Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Design for Manufacturability (DFM) practices.
  • Oversee capital equipment planning, implementation of new production technologies, and process automation initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory and quality standards (e.g., ISO, IPC, RoHS) and internal corporate policies.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor operational performance and implement corrective actions when needed.
  • Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing engineering operations team through strong leadership, coaching, and performance management.
  • Develop and manage departmental budgets, resources, and timelines to align with organizational priorities.
