Requirements
- Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree.
- Experience in Production Planning, Scheduling, Production Control, Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, Manufacturing, Inventory Management, Project Management, or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and release production orders in MRP system based on master production schedule and material availability to ensure a controlled flow of materials to meet customer requirements.
- Provide production floor support, including factory production interrupts, replacement part management, shortage tracking, and maintaining integrity of MRP and inventory systems.
- Proactively manage and take corrective action to resolve material challenges impacting production and ability to achieve performance targets.
- Support factory operations through daily Tier meetings and bi-weekly Line-of-Balance (LOB) meetings.
- Work closely with the factory operations, inventory, and supply chain to ensure program execution.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP.
- Experience with Material Requirement Planning (MRP).
- Experience with Government Contracting, Aerospace & Defense, and/or depot-type processes.
- Experience with continuous improvement and/or lean manufacturing principles.
- Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook), including formulas and pivot tables in Excel.
