Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in a related field
  • 5+ years experience as a program manager or related discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in security, risk management, compliance, information systems or other relevant fields
  • Strong understanding and proven experience of formal program management methodologies
  • Working knowledge of and experience in cyber/security domain
  • Exceptional skills in time management, facilitation, communication, and organization
  • Ability to translate complex concepts simply for varied audiences
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with program sponsors and cross-functional Security partners to document opportunities, challenges, and risks related to traditional and novel Security domains.
  • Objectively assessing opportunities, challenges, and risks using qualitative and quantitative factors, including the identification of key risk indicators (KRIs) and performance indicators (KPIs) for program performance.
  • Leveraging analysis to propose prioritization of scope, roadmap, deliverables, and budget for new initiatives with a focus on driving cross-functional initiatives that incrementally increase the state of program maturity over time.
  • Working closely with program sponsors and cross-functional teams to influence adoption of critical initiatives on roadmap.
  • Rapidly identifying and escalating risks to enable proactive collaboration and timely resolution.
  • Providing program status to Security leadership while ensuring transparency on key metrics and program effectiveness
  • Concurrently manage multiple critical projects including: Establishing and updating milestones, risks, and timelines to facilitate cross functional collaboration. Managing the current state of various cross-functional workstreams as well as dependencies. Holding teams accountable for deliverable quality and completeness. Clearly assessing and communicating the impact of delays to the overall project timeline and security risks. Providing program status to Security leadership, ensuring transparency and collaboration. Conducting regular data analysis on security control performance to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement. Driving process improvement initiatives within security programs, leveraging data to optimize workflows and enhance efficiency. Authoring Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) to focus teams on the right short term and long term goals Managing change across complex multi-quarter programs Leveraging retrospectives and other tools to propose opportunities for process and program optimization with a focus on achieving outcomes efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certification such as PMP, CISSP and CISA is a plus
  • Working knowledge of and experience in the technology and/or financial technology industry
  • Experience working across all the three lines of defence (3LOD)
  • Experience or participation in the cryptocurrency industry
  • Advanced understanding of Google Workspace, JIRA, Linear, Superset, Looker and SQL
