Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Completion of nursing assistant program and/or one year of nursing assistant experience
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support required
- Current CNA certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care assignments as delegated by and under the direction of a registered nurse
- Clerical/manages supplies/equipment in designated care areas
- Provides care to the patient according to the plan of care, unit routine and hospital policy
- Documents in electronic medical record
- Acts as a receptionist and organizes daily work assignment based on unit priorities
- Organizes daily work assignments based on unit priorities
- Actively participates in safety initiatives and risk mitigating measures where appropriate and completes all position and unit safety related competencies and requirements on a timely basis
- Performs other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
