Requirements
- 7+ years of software development experience.
- Experience building, maintaining and optimizing cloud systems (e.g. AWS).
- Experience evaluating and identifying optimal cloud solutions.
- Experience architecting cloud solutions, modifying and improving existing systems.
- Cloud deployment, migration and monitoring.
- Experience programming in Typescript/Python.
- Experience leading production quality software projects.
- Demonstrates thoughtful consideration of engineering tradeoffs to meet business timelines.
- Kubernetes operational experience (e.g., AWS EKS Fargate).
- AWS experience on Application Load Balancer, RDS/Postgresql, DynamoDB, CodePipeline/CodeBuild, IAM, and Cloudformation.
- gRPC and envoy-based service mesh.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and document software.
- Discover, refine, and communicate requirements with engineers and stakeholders.
- Improve overall product quality and usability iteratively.
- Mentor new and junior engineers.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified AWS Solution Architect.
- DevOps experience.
- Infrastructure as Code (experience preferably AWS CDK or Terraform).
