Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an accredited Engineering curriculum
- Experience with Creo, Vis View, and Teamcenter
- Ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation
- Knowledge of product features; ability to design, build, and develop a new product, technology, or service from concept through to production
- Ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas and information
Responsibilities
- Design new components and systems for the electrical integration on Large Wheel Loaders, Wheel Tractor Scrapers, and Off-Highway Trucks
- Responsible for the design, cost, quality, validation, and schedule
- Communicate/collaborate with customers, suppliers, team members, and other business units
- Research and develop new technology
- Developing and documenting functional design requirements
- Perform electrical load analysis and initiate discussions with system partners
- Organizing, coordinating, and executing the building, testing, and analysis of prototypes
- Assisting supply specialists and buyers with supplier development and supplier performance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing harness/cables installation
- Experience in electrical schematic design (preferably Creo Schematic)
