Requirements
- Must be able to read and write
- Must be dependable
- Must have a good attendance record
- Must be willing to be on call and work overtime as necessary
- Must have at least four years mechanical experience using the skills described in the job summary
- Must be able to lift heavy material and handle physical effort
- Responsible for the safety of others in the performance of job duties
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
Responsibilities
- Performs general equipment repair
- Uses a variety of materials to make alterations, installations and repairs on all types of plant machinery and on all auxiliary equipment
- Must work in a safe manner, insuring all guards and safety devices are in place after job completion
- Must be able to read prints
- Must be able to lift heavy objects
- Must obtain a fork lift license
- Must perform all other duties as assigned
- May perform electrical troubleshooting, repair or installation
- Compliance with applicable Good Manufacturing Practices and Good Documentation Practices
- Other Duties as assigned
