Requirements
- 5–10+ years of experience as a talent buyer, booking agent, or promoter
- Have booked full-scale or regional tours across the U.S. (bonus if international too)
- Bring a strong and current network of artists, managers, and agents
- Are skilled at negotiating deals and securing multi-date engagements
- Understand the current pain points in live performance—for artists, fans, and venues
- Are excited to challenge the status quo and empower artists to own their touring business
- Thrive in a fast-paced, startup-style environment
Responsibilities
- Lead BSide’s talent buying efforts by sourcing and securing artists for tours
- Pitch and close non-exclusive touring deals (goal: 5+ shows per artist in 12 months)
- Own the full artist pipeline—from outreach and negotiations to contracting
- Manage key relationships with artists, managers, and agents
- Collaborate with BSide production and product teams to ensure alignment and flawless execution
- Inform and iterate on our go-to-market and talent strategy based on real-time industry insights
