Requirements
- Minimum BSc degree in Computer science or adjacent technical field with 8+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Expert level knowledge of JavaScript/Typescript and hands-on experience with modern React.
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with a diverse range of talented engineers.
Responsibilities
- Scope, design, and implement applications to interact with our robot and the data it generates.
- Identify opportunities to reduce friction in the software development process and increase engineering velocity.
- Lead the expansion of internal telemetry and observability tools.
- Educate internal development teams on how to best leverage available tooling.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building developer tools
- Experience with Linux
- Experience with Python
- Experience deploying and scaling applications on cloud services like AWS (lambda is a plus)
- Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases
- Experience with Kafka, Hadoop, Spark, or other data processing tools
- Experience working with Docker development and deployment workflows
