Requirements
- Certified Surgical Technologist credential administered by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting
- Basic Life Support certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers or American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider
- High School Diploma
- Graduation from an accredited school of surgical technology or surgical technology military program
- At least one year of work experience as a Certified Surgical Tech required
Responsibilities
- Prepare sterile supplies and equipment used in surgical procedures
- Perform appropriate room duties involved with direct patient care
- Function autonomously as a member of the operating room team
- Assist providers and nurses with vaginal deliveries
- Restock supplies and manage instrument flow
- Engage in front desk customer service
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of two years work experience within an operating room setting
