Requirements

  • Candidate must have 9 years of experience that can be a combination of work history and education. (NOTE: This equates to a bachelor’s degree and 5 years, an associate’s degree and 7 years or a high school diploma and 9 years’ experience)
  • Knowledge of automated inventory control systems and proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
  • Experience with data entry into SAP/AM and working with IT Service Management (ITSM) tools, SAP asset management, and ServiceNow.
  • Strong understanding of IT software and hardware logistics with a minimum of three years of related experience.
  • Experience with continuous improvement approaches to managing technology spending and tracking assets within a Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
  • Proficiency in ordering, processing, shipping, receiving, packaging, material handling, property accountability, and discharge of excess property.
  • Experience with physical inventory management, including proper labeling, tracking, and documentation of IT equipment movement.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, finance, and government personnel, as well as with vendors and logistics personnel.
  • Familiarity with creating and distributing compliance and trend analysis reports related to current assets and their status.
  • Ability to lift up to fifty pounds and carry it for forty feet multiple times per day.
  • Valid driver’s license with the ability to operate company trucks and lift gate systems for equipment delivery/Pickup within designated areas (DC, MD, and VA).
  • In order to be considered for this position, you must have a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
  • Strong communication skills (written and interpersonal) and ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Ability to conduct detailed procedures in time-constrained environments and work independently with little supervision.
  • Flexibility to travel 30% of the year and work under challenging conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Update records in SAP to reflect Help now streamlining any duplicates.
  • Track the removal and addition of equipment to the customer network and to report the updates to the procurement team for updates to the maintenance equipment list.
  • Develop and maintain the logistic team’s processes and procedures (SOP’s).
  • Monitor and report on fulfillment of requirements for various customer reporting systems (Confluence, SharePoint, HelpNow).
  • Assist the logistics leads in the management of worldwide logistics operations.
  • Provide support for all customer supply chain management review (SCMR) audits.
  • Work with Key stakeholders on the submission of CDRL’s (Contract deliverables).
  • As a custodial property officer (CPO), approve equipment transfers for hub and tail sites.
  • Assist in the development of site inventory plans, as well as monitor and report on the status of the inventory.
  • Track and monitor the disposal of equipment across the program—ensure that all documentation is signed within the established requirements.
  • Track and report on all return material authorization (RMA) deliveries and turn-ins at the sites—ensure that all equipment is added to, or removed from, the maintenance lists as necessary.
  • Collaborates with site personnel on a regular basis to ensure all consumable property stock levels are being properly maintained.
  • Tracks, traces, and updates the status of shipments as needed.
  • Successfully conducts and completes all assigned training.
  • Travel of up to 30% of the year to inventory and manage the lifecycle of equipment at remote locations.
  • Establish and maintain hardware and software maintenance database and historical document records.
