Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in SaaS B2B product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work in product design, with an emphasis on mobile design.
- Strong portfolio showcasing innovative design solutions that solve complex user problems and enhance user engagement.
- Proven experience in a hybrid designer–researcher role, demonstrating the ability to lead user research efforts and translate insights into impactful design solutions. This includes planning and conducting qualitative and quantitative research (e.g., interviews, usability tests, surveys), selecting appropriate methodologies based on research goals, and using the right tools to collect and analyze data effectively. Able to synthesize findings into actionable insights that directly inform design and product decisions.
- Deep knowledge and focus on designing for both mobile apps and responsive web interfaces, utilizing platform-specific guidelines (iOS, Android, web), accessibility, and user behavior across devices.
- Expertise in design tools, including Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools. Strong understanding of front-end development principles.
- Ability to tackle complex design challenges and distill them into simple, intuitive user experiences.
- Experience with design systems and a strong understanding of product design best practices.
- Strong foundation in accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG, AA, AAA) and inclusive design principles, with experience designing products that are usable by people of all abilities. Committed to integrating accessibility considerations throughout the design process.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and influence stakeholders.
- Experience working in an agile development environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- A passion for creating user-friendly, visually appealing, and joyful experiences that drive business impact.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end design process, from user research and concept development to prototyping, visual design, and final execution. Ensure that all designs meet both user needs and business objectives.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and data analysis to deeply understand user behavior and needs. Use these insights to inform and iterate on design solutions.
- Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to align on project goals, timelines, and deliverables. Act as a design advocate within cross-functional teams.
- Contribute to and maintain Envoy’s design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across all products and touchpoints.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices. Apply this knowledge to innovate and push the boundaries of what’s possible in workplace technology.
