Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED and three (3) years of foodservice industry experience and/or other construction project experience
  • Familiarity with blueprints and construction documents (Bluebeam)
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines as well as excellent business written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite, ability to learn new software i.e., AutoQuotes, SAP.
  • Must be able to estimate new project proposals independently.
  • Ability and willingness to travel (25-50%).

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for completing, ordering and filing documents during the onset of each project
  • Complies submittal books and owner’s manuals for customers, maintain accurate and detailed project files, coordinates and track shipments.
  • Track and schedule installation work
  • Works closely with Project Management/Installation Management, General Contractors and Sub-Contractors to manage project coordination
  • Attends construction meetings as assigned
  • Submits weekly reports to Project Managers and Sales Team
  • Performs field dimensioning as needed
  • Maintains daily contact with Project Team and provides updates on assigned projects
  • Maintains positive business relationships with Vendors, Vendor Representatives and Customers
  • Escalates any equipment or installation issues in a timely manner
  • Assist your team and Project Management with the delivery and installation of hoods, walk-ins and Kitchen Equipment.
  • Instructs and monitors trades on-site for proper connection of mechanical requirements
  • Works Directly with Project Manager and Site to resolve punch-list resolution, and closeout procedures
  • Occasionally asked to be on-site during a turnover for coordination of a projects transition to owners.
  • Works directly with FED Corporate team to complete any Accounting/Billing compliance related to a specific project.
  • Assists in all other FED sales related activities as assigned
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

  • CAD, Revit or ability to hand sketch
  • Construction site experience, field dimensioning, reporting, coordination with trades, etc
  • College degree in a related field critical item.
