Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
- Four or more years of relevant work experience.
- Experience in machine learning and statistical modeling.
- Hands-on programming experience in Python and SQL.
Responsibilities
- Independently work on data science projects and deliver innovative technical solutions to solve problems and improve business outcomes.
- Complete the design and development of machine learning/statistical models and ensure best performance.
- Work closely with machine learning engineers to deploy models in production both in real-time and in batch process and systematically track model performance.
- Assist engagement with key business stakeholders in discussion on business strategies and opportunities.
- Build strong working relationships and develop deep partnership with the business.
- Be a subject matter expert on machine learning and predictive modeling.
- Drive technical innovation through active research and applications of new theories, techniques, and technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a quantitative field or equivalent.
- Knowledge of tree-based classification and regression techniques such as boosting and random forest.
- Knowledge of ML Python frameworks, packages, and libraries (e.g., pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, PyTorch).
- Experience with data platforms such as Spark, Hadoop, BigQuery, Snowflake or others.
- Experience with GCP, AWS or other cloud computing services.
- Experience in both batch and streaming models in production.
- Experience with Recommendation and Ranking systems.
- Experience with Deep Learning, NLP, Transformers, and chatbot technology.
- Knowledge of math, probability, statistics, and optimization.
