Reality Labs Accountant

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
4+ years of experience in accounting or finance
CPA or equivalent qualification
Exposure to U.S. GAAP and Internal Controls
Experience in the Tech industry or similar high-growth/fast-paced environment
Experience improving business processes and systems
Highly collaborative temperament and communication skills
Self-starter with superb attention to detail and possesses an understanding of the ‘big picture’
Experience operating with a high degree of autonomy

Oversee global end-to-end accounting processes and controls with a particular focus on cost and inventory accounting
Partner with engineering and other cross-functional teams to implement industry-leading, automated accounting solutions (including AI integrations)
Partner with Finance, Operations, and Business Development teams to understand emerging business practices and provide accounting support for new initiatives
Own month-end close procedures, including subledger management, journal entry and reconciliation review, and other duties as necessary
Provide well presented analytical insights that concisely tell the RL story through the preparation of quarterly and ad hoc reporting packages to management
Fulfill internal and external audit requests
