Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, investment banking, or a related field
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related discipline
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills with a track record of building dynamic financial models
- Strong command of core financial and accounting concepts
- Experience leading or contributing to annual planning, monthly forecasting, and performance reporting cycles
- Comfortable synthesizing large, complex data sets into meaningful insights
- Familiarity with financial systems and tools such as Adaptive Insights, NetSuite, Power BI, or Looker
- Strong communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams
Responsibilities
- Lead and support CloudTrucks financial planning processes, including annual planning, long-range forecasts, and monthly updates
- Partner with commercial and marketing teams to analyze growth drivers, customer trends, and ROI across key initiatives
- Build and improve scalable reporting that provides real-time visibility into business performance and helps drive accountability across functions
- Develop and refine financial models to evaluate new initiatives, product lines, partnerships, and investments
- Create dashboards, reports, and frameworks that improve forecasting accuracy and help leadership make data-driven decisions
- Conduct ad hoc analyses that provide insights into business drivers, cost structure, and opportunities for growth or efficiency
- Act as a thought partner to senior leaders, bringing data, perspective, and recommendations to strategic conversations
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a startup or high-growth technology company
- Exposure to both B2B and B2C business models, especially in marketplaces or logistics
- MBA, CPA, or CFA credentials
- Experience implementing or optimizing FP&A tools and workflows
- Experience supporting fundraising efforts at a high-growth tech company (e.g., preparing investor materials, financial modeling, due diligence)
- Knowledge of SQL or comfort working directly with data in BI tools
