Requirements
- Investment banking, public finance or equivalent experience in the Infrastructure sector
- Master’s Degree and 3+ years of investment banking experience; OR Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of public finance, investment banking or equivalent experience
- Experience with executing financing transactions, conducting due diligence, preparing marketing materials and RFPs
- Strong quantitative and technical abilities, including advanced financial modelling capabilities
- Demonstrated leadership, project management, negotiation, client-relationship building, analytical and credit skills
- Experience in leading deal teams of analysts and associates
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
Responsibilities
- Lead the structuring and execution of bond financings in the general government/infrastructure sector
- Assist and lead client coverage, origination, and transaction idea generation
- Coordinate transaction due diligence workstreams, including interactions with independent consultants, external counsel, and other third parties
- Manage the preparation of client pitches, rating agency presentations, and marketing materials and supervise and/or personally engage in the preparation of financial models to evaluate capital structure alternatives
- Manage the drafting of internal transaction approval memos, and coordinate with credit risk and other control functions throughout the approval and execution processes
- Train and mentor associates and analysts
