Requirements

Responsibilities
- Supervises and directs the daily functions of the Commercial Accounts departments
- Maintains positive relationships with all location customers
- Develops new business and provides quality service
- Schedules and oversees the sale preparation for commercial and customer accounts
- Establishes and maintains a good working relationship with account representatives and their staff
- Ensures all sales are properly posted to simulcast and validate accuracy of listed sales
- Manages, reviews and supports invoice collection for buyback vehicles and owed AR
- Schedules sale for commercial accounts after completion of the pre-sale reconditioning and required paperwork
- Coordinates customer contact functions, such as redemptions, end of term lease, new car delivery and other customer inquiries
- Oversees and supervises clerical staff to ensure paperwork is processed accurately and provided to the customer in a timely manner
- Supervises the preparation of contracts, and pre- and post-sale reports as required by consignor
- Follows up on aging vehicles and monitor and records their status until they are scheduled for sale
- Verifies that vehicle information is accurately recorded and vehicles are properly numbered for sale
- Monitors and makes sure that changes to vehicles are posted timely and accurately and that vehicle records are maintained in compliance with contract requirements
- Increases level of consignment with existing customers
- Responds to customer issues where the Administrator does not have the authority and escalates when necessary
- Supervises and supports team member management of arbitration vehicles
- Supervises the work of commercial accounts staff by determining work procedures, preparing work schedules, expediting the workflow, assigning duties and examining work for accuracy and conformance to policies and procedures
- Counsels and disciplines employees
- Evaluates employee job performance and conducts performance appraisals
- Visibly demonstrates safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such
- Works with manager to review work volumes, plan and continuously monitor staffing levels to ensure efficiency, quality work product, and effective customer service; reviews departmental performance against key performance indicators and metrics and develops and executes strategies for improvement
- Effectively leads the team at the location by setting an example in behavior, championing Cox/Manheim values and ensuring that all employees are treated with respect
- Enforces all company policies and procedures related to employee and customer conduct
- Performs other duties as assigned by management
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in related discipline strongly desired
- Experience in auction industry desired
