Requirements
- Must be a licensed member of the bar in the State of Ohio
- You must have at least five (5) years of title insurance underwriting experience to be considered for the position
- You must live in the Eastern Time Zone
- Law Degree
- Good standing status with the Ohio Supreme Court
- Ohio Title Insurance License
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Answer underwriting/legal questions for agents and staff
- Respond to requests for large policy authorizations
- Salvage, collection, and recoupment on claims and unremitted premiums
- Assist in claims administration
- Preparation of Agency Agreements and Amendments
- Participation in CE and CLE programs for Agents and customers of Agents
