Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, or related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience, including at least 1 year in RGM, Pricing, Category Management, Sales, or Finance.
  • Strong understanding of key business metrics and their impact (e.g., margin, market share, price elasticity).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience analyzing large datasets.
  • Ability to create data visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present insights clearly.
  • Experience working cross-functionally and influencing stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity.
  • Detail-oriented with a track record of delivering accurate, impactful results.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct analysis on pricing, promotions, and assortment to support business objectives and financial goals.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to Marketing, Sales, and Finance to improve sales and profitability.
  • Analyze competitive pricing and market trends, sharing insights with cross-functional teams.
  • Assist in developing pricing models to support revenue and profitability goals.
  • Track and analyze promotional activities by item, channel, and category.
  • Help create promotional strategies and assess their financial impact.
  • Support internal customer line reviews and analyze potential financial effects.
  • Implement pricing and pricing concessions into the ERP system in a timely and accurate manner ensuring customers are invoiced accurately.
  • Own process to ensure price adjustments are implemented into the ERP system. Communicate and distribute accurate customer net price files detailing price adjustments.
  • Partner with external customers and internal stakeholders to resolve any pricing discrepancies or issues.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and maintain dashboards to track results.
  • Improve reporting processes related to pricing, promotions, and assortment.
  • Assist in developing tools to measure pricing and promotional effectiveness.
  • Leverage data analysis techniques to generate insights that support decision-making.
  • Help identify new data sources and analytical tools to enhance strategies.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to support pricing and promotion decisions.
  • Contribute to business planning, category management, and channel strategy discussions.
  • Communicate data insights in a clear and actionable way to stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in retail environments with price elasticity and market modeling.
