Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on business partnering
  • Strong understanding of California HR practices, labor laws, and compliance regulations with both exempt and non-exempt roles
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
  • Proven ability to influence and engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated experience in data analysis and the use of HR metrics to drive decisions
  • Ability to work on-site Monday – Friday

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the recruitment process by partnering with Talent Acquisition and Management in posting job openings, conducting interviews, and assisting with onboarding activities
  • Support performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and coaching discussions
  • Coordinate training initiatives, assess training needs, and facilitate employee development programs
  • Assist in implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company standards
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and ensure data integrity and confidentiality
  • Prepare HR metrics and reports to track key performance indicators and support decision-making processes
  • Manage employee relations matters, including grievances, complaints, conflicts, and conduct thorough investigations as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR)
  • Previous experience with M&A
  • Experience with field based non-exempt teams
