Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on business partnering
- Strong understanding of California HR practices, labor laws, and compliance regulations with both exempt and non-exempt roles
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
- Proven ability to influence and engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated experience in data analysis and the use of HR metrics to drive decisions
- Ability to work on-site Monday – Friday
Responsibilities
- Participate in the recruitment process by partnering with Talent Acquisition and Management in posting job openings, conducting interviews, and assisting with onboarding activities
- Support performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and coaching discussions
- Coordinate training initiatives, assess training needs, and facilitate employee development programs
- Assist in implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company standards
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and ensure data integrity and confidentiality
- Prepare HR metrics and reports to track key performance indicators and support decision-making processes
- Manage employee relations matters, including grievances, complaints, conflicts, and conduct thorough investigations as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR)
- Previous experience with M&A
- Experience with field based non-exempt teams
