Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, or Analytics with Financial Industry knowledge
- 5-8 years of experience developing in SQL as well as 5-8 years of experience with database management and analysis (data profiling, data architecture, data governance)
- 8-10 years of experience working with data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik, etc.)
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) as well as the ability to partner with different functional areas across an organization
- Experience translating business objectives into technical requirements
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of complex data analysis projects, from defining the problem statement to presenting actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand their needs, translate them into technical requirements, and ensure project deliverables align with business goals.
- Design, develop, and implement data collection strategies, ensuring data accuracy and completeness. Clean, transform, and analyze large datasets using advanced techniques and tools like SQL.
- Automate data processes and improve efficiency.
- Create clear, compelling, and interactive data visualizations and reports using tools like Power BI to communicate insights effectively.
- Perform advanced statistical analysis to identify trends and patterns in data, develop predictive models (if applicable), and uncover hidden insights.
- Champion data governance initiatives by developing and documenting data policies and procedures to maintain data quality and integrity.
