Requirements
- expert knowledge of GitLab and CI/CD pipelines
- expert hands-on knowledge in Linux and Azure scripting
- hands-on knowledge on designing, developing, and delivering large, scalable and distributed systems on Microsoft Azure cloud platform with focus on business continuity compliance, resilience, scalability and redundancy while managing reasonable subscription costs
- experienced in providing Dev Ops engineer support for monolith Java/J2EE application as well as microservices and event driven architected apps running on Azure
- expert knowledge of cloud technologies including Docker, Kubernetes and other cloud-native services on Microsoft Azure
- knowledge of Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Data Lake (ADLS) & Databricks is a plus
- DBs like CosmosDB or MongoDB is a plus
- good UNIX/Linux experiences and scripting skills including scheduling/automation like AutoSys or TWS
- cloud deployment tools (helm, terraform, ansible)
- containerization technologies (docker)
- container orchestration tools (K8s)
- VCS platforms like github and gitlab
- build tools like maven/gradle, sonar, Fortify tools
- CI/CD processes and tools (Gitlab, Jenkins, Teamcity)
- scripting languages (bash/python, puppet)
- logging and monitoring tools (AppDynamics, AppInsights)
- basic Networking (load balancing, ssh, certificates)
- middleware products (Kafka, Tomcat)
- excellent communication skills and team player
- working knowledge of Agile development processes and tools
- analytical and methodical problem solving and debugging skills tuned to Finance industry and/or service provider culture
Responsibilities
- maintain and build CI/CD pipelines
- migrate applications to cloud environment
- build scripts and dashboards for monitoring health of application
- build tools to reduce occurrence of errors and improve customer experience
- deployment of changes in prod and non-prod environments
- follow release management processes for application releases
- maintain stability of non-prod environments
- work with development, QA and support groups in troubleshooting environment issues
Preferred Qualifications
- knowledge of Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Data Lake (ADLS) & Databricks is a plus
- DBs like CosmosDB or MongoDB is a plus
