Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in process improvement and automation technologies
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required
- Strong finance/business background a plus
- Demonstrated ability to develop strategic relationships and lead multiple customer focused projects
- Demonstrated experience interacting & collaborating with business areas in gathering, documenting and developing business scope for projects
- Strong communication — oral, written, interpersonal and presentation — skills
- Excellent planning, organizational and execution skills
- Results oriented, ability to meet and exceed objectives and handle multiple deadlines and priorities
- Strong analytical and business problem solving skills
- Must have experience in working with internal resources and also be flexible to utilize an offshore delivery center operating in a time zone different from the primary work location
- Must have experience with establishing operational and process controls to measure and verify that established processes, procedures and audit controls are followed
Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and implementations
- Develop, maintain and release automation and reporting related solutions and prepare systems documentation per Genworth and industry standards
- Lead and manage multiple projects of varying scale, tracking and communicating progress to IT and Finance leadership
- Demonstrate technical leadership ability in Power BI, Automation Anywhere, Alteryx and other automation and reporting tools
- Perform code reviews and collaborate with peer designers / developers on project work
- Provide limited system support and maintenance for the existing systems in the Finance Systems area
- Guide and lead offshore development on projects as needed
