Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 15 years professional experience in a marketing role
- Advanced degree in a technical field such as life sciences, biology, chemistry, engineering is a plus
- Experience with digital and social media marketing & analytics
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects within a matrixed environment
- A solid understanding of life sciences buyers, their behavior, and channels of communication
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a creative and modern Marketing Plan and development and tracking of the Marketing Budget
- Build and develop a global team
- Contribute to the development and share responsibility for achieving the Life Science Global Business Plan
- Lead the development and execution of an integrated Life Sciences marketing strategy
- Develop marketing programs to drive brand awareness and customer mind share
- Leverage comprehensive market research to identify trends, customer roadmaps, and competitive landscape
- Provide critical inputs to key product functions
- Lead the further development of a highly effective MARCOM team
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of solutions marketing and sales enablement initiatives
- Develop technical and value-based messaging and content
- Oversee content creation including marketing campaigns, case studies, thought leadership, presentations, web content, advertising, event messaging
- Promote content through various tactics and measure effectiveness
- Ensure product launches are properly supported with sales packages, promotions, and activities
- Oversee the development and execution of materials for the sales organization
- Work with sales leaders to develop product and application training materials
