Requirements

  • Junior level by September 2025 or higher pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical Engineer.
  • Interest in Maritime or Port terminal Operations.
  • Transportation Worker Identification Credential, also known as TWIC® Card or ability to obtain a TWIC® card.
  • 2.75 GPA or higher
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license – You will need to be able to travel to and from sites and/or office.
  • Ability to work full time and be a student in standing at the time of the co-op/internship.
  • Basic computer skills are required.
  • Experience working in a team environment is a must.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting critical supply chain projects across various teams to gain comprehensive functional exposure.
  • Support current business initiatives, such as specific problem-solving projects or improvement activities involving multiple sites.
  • Assisting in business process analysis and system evaluations, identifying areas for improvement and recommending strategic enhancements.
  • Participating in maintenance management processes, ensuring equipment and systems operate effectively.
  • Utilizing industry-leading supply chain systems and methodologies to drive effective materials management, inventory optimization, demand forecasting, network enhancement, and transportation efficiency—ultimately improving customer experience.
  • Conducting Asset Criticality assessments to enhance operational resilience and efficiency.
  • Interpreting and analyzing engineering drawings for process improvements.
  • Engaging with SAP systems, a key tool in managing supply chain operations.
  • Interact with various levels of personnel throughout the organization, including management, plant operators, engineers (of various disciplines), and contractors.
  • Exposure to safety standards, logistics optimization, and innovative engineering solutions within the industry.
  • Attend department meetings and meetings specific to the project assignment.
  • Adhering to Mosaic’s mission, guiding principles and priorities, and key competencies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • SAP Experience Preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience volunteering, working with student/school organizations, or work is preferred.
  • Previous internship or co-op experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with an industrial environment is highly desirable.
  • Effective verbal communication skills is a plus.
