Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with configuration management and collaboration tools such as (or similar to) Git, JIRA, Collaborator, Beyond Compare, and VersionOne
- 3+ years of experience with C/C++ coding or java/python script development
- 3+ years of experience with MATLAB and/or Simulink
- Experience with Visual Studio
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate IAC simulation development and integration to support BCA, BDS, BT&E and BGS development and test programs.
- Use strong project management skills to collaborate and interface with all levels of management and engineering including providing status and managing forecasting and engineering accounting.
- Develop software simulation requirements from systems/design engineering and test requirements including conceptualization and inclusion of validation and verification elements
- Serve as primary engineering contact for external organizations
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- Experience with both Windows and Linux platforms
- The candidate must possess the ability to understand, interpret, and communicate complex functionalities of airplane systems and their interdependencies.
- A solid understanding of the IAC simulation, including its operating system and environment, is essential. The candidate should also be capable of conceptualizing verification and validation elements applicable to each requirement.
- Experience in interfacing IAC simulation with cabs and benches, along with familiarity with detailed test procedures and their contents.
- Strong project management skills are necessary, including the ability to lead and coordinate meetings, collaborate effectively, interface with management, provide status updates, and manage forecasting and engineering accounting.
