Master Electrician

High School Diploma or GED.
10 years’ experience with electrical work.
U.S. Citizen. The candidate must at a minimum have an active Secret security clearance and be eligible to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI level clearance.
The candidate must also have a current Master Electrician License.

Determining customer requirements; planning; procurement of materials and services, assigning and directing work for installation; removal of electrical infrastructure; documenting all changes; and maintaining history files on changes made to the infrastructure of the buildings.
Maintaining and periodically testing the backup UPS and Emergency Power Generation systems and associated switch gear, monitoring performance, and interpreting data to identify potential issues.
Maintaining communication with specialized vendors, such as high voltage and testing experts, and equipment manufacturers.
Reviewing the resources and costs required for each project with the customer and securing their approval prior to execution.
Providing results and lessons learned reports to the customer following the completion of projects.
Scheduling members of his/her crew for specific tasks and ensuring the assignment of personnel are fully qualified to perform those tasks.
Directing the crew in the assigned work and monitoring the quality of the completed product; ensuring that personnel assigned receive the training and experience to develop the capabilities of the personnel assigned and optimize the performance of the crews.
