Requirements
- Proven experience with SRE/DevOps practices (5 year min)
- Good coding skills. Java is a plus
- Experience with Unix/Linux system administration and programming
- Experience with Kubernetes and Spark is a plus
- Outstanding problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
- Strong knowledge of cloud-based systems and internet-related tools.
Responsibilities
- Manage and improve our core compute and query service with a focus on scalability and reliability.
- Plan, design, develop, and test software systems or applications for software improvements and new products, including cloud-based or internet-related tools.
- Complete SRE and DevOps tasks to ensure the flawless operation and maintenance of our systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine and successfully implement standard methodologies in software engineering.
- Manage industry known technologies like Spark, Kubernetes, Terraform, Mongo, Databricks, Snowflake, Elastic Search together with brand-new tech to compete at the highest level of market complexity and scale.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Kubernetes and Spark is a plus
