Requirements

  • Solid International Logistics background with experience leading operations in a constantly changing environment.
  • Import/export regulations knowledge.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Oracle.
  • Strong English communication skills.
  • Customer-focused with a willingness to contribute during high-demand periods (i.e. Quarter Ends).
  • 10+ years in supply chain and logistics.
  • 3+ years in a supervisory role.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate logistics suppliers for efficient inbound/outbound Operation.
  • Work with customs brokers to optimize import/export operations and trade compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with international regulations for shipments.
  • Provide logistics solutions to internal and external customers.
  • Strong communication and coordination with the US Distribution Center (DOF) and Last Mile Agent (LMA).
  • Support supply chain effectiveness and cost optimization.
  • Assist finance with cash flow management related to duties and taxes.
  • Develop and maintain suppliers KPIs.
  • Ensure timely update on shipment records for accurate visibility.
  • Maintain optimal on-time performance (Deliveries to the right place, right time, right documentation and without any damage).
  • Communicate shipment status to wider teams.
  • Support and implement supply chain initiatives in alignment with wider business organizations.
  • Oversee customs clearance and last-mile delivery of non-revenue shipments (Repair and Return / Miscellaneous).
  • Resolve overages/shortages issues.
  • Ensure claims in place for damaged or lost shipments.
  • Ensure proper flow of goods into the US and Canada.
  • Coordinate Logistics for complex projects into and out of the US.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports as required.
  • Review and approve local carriers billing.
  • Maintain on-time trip closures on internal tools.
  • Support regulatory and trade compliance initiatives.
  • Attend meetings as required, to align and implement logistics initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Practical experience in the US and Canada marketplace, preferably in Telecommunications/Hi-Tech.
  • Experience with 3PLs.
