Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree Required: Majors include Finance, Accounting, and/or Economics, and a minimum GPA of 3.0
- Strong analytical, leadership and problem-solving skills
- Strong written, oral communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Responsibilities
- Conduct fundamental investment analysis on loan and bond capital structures
- Evaluate issuer and industry trends
- Determine relative value within issuer capital structures and industry sectors
- Communicate investment recommendations to Portfolio Managers
- Financial statement analysis, modeling, and forecasting
- Industry data collection and trend analysis
- Identify industry initiatives and market trends that impact the business
- Assess business and financial strategy
- Monitor market movements through daily meetings with portfolio managers, economists, and strategists
- Formulate and maintain forward looking investment recommendations
- Determine credit quality by assigning and maintaining independent internal ratings
