Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field plus a minimum of (11) years of relevant experience or a master’s degree with nine (9) years of relevant systems administration experience
- An associate’s degree with ten (10) years of relevant experience or a high school diploma/GED with thirteen (13) years of relevant experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position
- IAT Level II Certification (Security +, CSA+, CCNA Security, etc.)
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance
- Familiarity with Docker, MongoDB, and Elastic Search
- Working knowledge of software-defined networks
- Experience deploying and maintaining nginx; system monitoring platforms like OpenVAS, Prometheus and Grafana; SELinux and FIPS.
Responsibilities
- Design, maintain, monitor, and support operations and maintenance (O&M) activities of a large enclave comprised of various hardware, software and network components to include server architecture, virtual machines, managed switches, NAS, VLANs, and VPNs.
- Develop and carry out strategies to migrate existing customers to new architecture and technology with minimal impact.
- Administer network including installing, configuring and maintaining network devices; configuring various routing protocols; troubleshooting multi-hop connectivity, throughput, and latency; setting up firewalls.
- Responsible for secure infrastructure and vulnerability corrections, data security, compliance, and backups and recovery.
- Maintain SSPs, STE/STN requirements, Netseer, SEAR logging, patching, IAVMs, McAfee, and UAM.
- Responsible for user-level support, including interacting with system-savvy developers and analysts, resolving network, computer, and virtual system issues & anomalies.
- Maintain enclaved documentation (network diagram, system names, IP addresses, barcodes, etc.); provide monthly activity report to include system outages.
