Requirements
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in retail-related buying, product development and/or sales at a manufacturer, retailer or licensor.
- BA/BS degree required
- Strong knowledge of US based retail industry, retail landscape, licensed merchandise, solution selling and marketing principals
- Strong knowledge in Home, FHB, Publishing at all channels of distribution
- Strong strategic, digital and analytical skills
- Strong understanding of digital, social media, marketing and eCommerce trends
- Strong sales and solution selling skills: relationship building, presentations, influencing skills
- Proven financial acumen
- Proven and effective interpersonal skills and ability to develop relationships with personnel at all levels of retail organization
- Team collaborator and ability to work with cross functional teams
- Ability to navigate and work through a matrix structure to deliver the end solution

Responsibilities
- Develops opportunistic sales strategies in collaboration with licensees and retailers
- Owns and drives development of business plans, retail strategies, white space and revenue goals
- Partners with Licensees/Category/Franchise/Retail Marketing/Creative/Product Development to develop and execute retail strategies and initiatives
- Develops pitch retail presentations, manages, and interfaces with retail senior merchants and marketing teams
- Communicates WBDCP licensing and marketing strategies to retail accounts
- Analyzes retail pos data, identifies gaps and opportunities to drive to retail
- Works directly with appropriate retail personnel at all levels (e.g. senior merchants, marketing, planning)
- Establishes and owns key retail merchant, marketing, and licensee relationships to meet and exceed revenue targets and growth objectives
- Directly manages retail programs focused on specific lines of business and revenue goals
- Manages and maintains weekly team reports, recaps and sales team documents
- Provides internal and external business retail updates
- Leads, owns and executes key account planning, budget, long range planning and quarterly forecasting in partnership with Category/Licensees/Finance/Retailers
- Leads and initiates in Retail & Licensing Joint Business Plans, Studio Swings, Content Update and Pitches
- Directly manages large retail programs focused on lines of business, multi-categories, driving stronger revenue goals
- Collaborates and partners with Retail Marketing/Franchise teams driving retail initiatives and activations
- Spearheads retail initiatives with senior retail merchants and marketing teams in partnership with RBD Marketing team and managing Ad Pub budget
- Manages T&E budget
- Applies competitive and industry knowledge, trends, and data to everyday decision-making
- Responsible for Analysis and Postmortem on key retail programs and recaps (e.g. Spring/Summer-Fall/Holiday)
- Acts as decision maker at key accounts with guidance from Director
- Leads, develops, and executes studio swing presentations with guidance from Director
- Presents and develops high quality retail presentations leveraging franchise strategies, consumer insights and market trends that support the WBD brand and franchises
- Leads and shares best practices amongst cross functional teams that resonate at key accounts
- Leads with presence, effective presenter, strong influencer, relationship builder with retail senior merchants, marketing teams and WBDCP cross-functional teams
- Leads, manages, and drives account specific retail and eCommerce initiatives, promotions, campaigns, and events in partnership with internal stakeholders and licensees to maximize sell-in and sell through of products
- Identifies and drives omnichannel opportunities across all lines of business
- Drives incremental volume and promotes sustained volume growth by implementing account plans that include strategic eCommerce growth initiatives
Preferred Qualifications
- Entertainment industry experience recommended
